Skyline now offers Cisco® Nexus
Cisco transcends using a single, unified switching fabric and the emerging Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) standard. The platform it uses, called Nexus, is a line of routing switches in chassis, rack-mounted and blade form. The Nexus series is designed both to meet exploding demands for bandwidth and energy efficiency within data centers and to simplify the jobs of IT administrators.

Skyline-ATS Announces Nexus 7000 (and 5000) "Just in Time" (JIT) Training
The (ICN75KE) is the ideal choice for customers who are in the process of installing new Nexus 7000 systems (and perhaps Nexus 5000 and 2000 products along with the 7000s) and who intend to initially use these systems in an Ethernet infrastructure.
The concept behind JIT training is that Skyline will work with you, the customer, to provide this education on your equipment. Benefits of using your equipment include:
- Flexibility in scheduling: The class is scheduled exactly when you need it without any conflicts with others wanting to access shared education facilities
- Reduced training costs: When the class is run on your equipment, the lab costs can be removed from the price of the class
- No student travel: Students learn where they work
- Consistency: students work on the equipment they will actually be using
For those customers interested in this training, a Skyline instructor/consultant will work with you to provide all equipment connection requirements, including student access. If needed, the instructor/consultant will provide on-site assistance in preparing the equipment the day prior to the class.
Additional Considerations:
- Class duration is three full, extended-hour days
- Class content is a proper subset of the DCNI2-v3 course with additional topics and labs authored by Skyline-ATS
- Recommended student to Nexus system ratio is 3:1; this ratio allows for three students to jointly share access to the Default VDC while allowing each student to also have access to their very own VDC (once configured by the students)
- There is no Fibre Channel and/or Storage Area Network (SAN) content in the (ICN75KE) class
