  • Understand product placement for the Cisco Nexus 1000V product
  • Describe the migration of data center architectures, including unified I/O and unified fabric as they apply to VMware based servers

Who Should Attend

The primary audience for this course are individuals involved in the technical handling of VMware servers and Cisco switch products, namely installing, configuring, operating, and troubleshooting. The decision to cover only these areas is somewhat arbitrary, because many people with Cisco certifications are called on to provide advice in network planning and design as well. This course is also intended for VMware implementers and support personnel responsible for the migration of servers from existing VMware virtual switching infrastructures to Cisco Nexus 1000V based networks. In this course, the target audience will be referred to generically as technicians.
